The council also has other areas with responsibility or representation by individual councillors including the neighbourhood watch, the Parish Hall committee, liaison with the school governors and the Wynne Wilson Playing field charity.

Steve Mackerness, Philip Harris and Tony Cox on the planning committee, Shirley Beazer on the Highways committee and Stan Cherry on the Amenities committee.

Meadow Park Footpath

There is a new Deregulation Act, shortly to come into effect, with which we will lose the right to use unregistered footpaths. That part of the footpath from Meadow Walk through the Amenity / Woodland to Meadow Park is unregistered.
