Bath Rotary club has proposed to BANES council that there should be at least one “Tommy” installed in Bath to mark the centenary of the end of WW1 and the council have agreed. In order that the cost of this exercise does not detract from our other charitable donations they have produced a mydonate page specifically to raise the cost of Tommies.
The Tommies are 6ft silhouettes of a WW1 soldier which are being installed all around the country. All the proceeds from the sale of these goes to Military charities such as Help for Heroes.
