GENERAL INFO
Most people think that the Legion is only for ex-service personnel!
WRONG!!!
Legion membership is open to everyone over the age of 18. That means YOU!
In fact the majority of the events at the Legion are aimed at the 30 – 60 age range.
If you don't believe us why not pop in for a drink and see for yourself.
In the future, we will be endeavoring to become more ‘child friendly’ and we welcome any suggestions
from parents on activities for children and families.
In particular Saturday & Sunday Lunchtimes are the perfect time to bring families into the club.
The Lower Bar:
The ‘pub’ in the Club. Why not enjoy a pint of GEM or Stella Artois, or even a cold glass of White Zinfandel, in our refurbished bar area. A Darts & Pool table are also available for entertainment.
Or you could watch live sports on our Sky TV or even bring the kids in and let them watch a DVD whilst you enjoy a drink.

Family lunchtime - a great time to get out for a drink while the dinner’s cooking; and you can bring the kids!

MONDAY TO THURSDAY
Bar open 8pm - 11.pm.
Sky TV. Skittle Alley available.
FRIDAYS
Friday evenings have also been ‘refreshed’ by the introduction of special events.
Events will include skittles challenge, karaoke, race nights, jazz, blues, 90’s music etc.
Previous successful events include the Quiz Night, The ABBA Night, the School Disco Night,, Horse Racing Night and our Xmas Party.
SATURDAY NIGHTS
£3.00 Entry. (no entry fee for Pool room bar)
Most acts provide ‘middle of the road’ music for all age groups.
Entertainment Questionnaires Are Now Available For You To Give Feedback On Entertainment At The Club
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
The RBL ballroom is available to hire for private functions of up to 80 people. Self catered or in-house.
Menus are available on request, and excellent value for money. Hire costs £30 for members and £50 for non members.
MEMBERSHIP
You do not have to be a member to visit the Club, however, if you like it and would like to take advantage of our friendly atmosphere and great value drinks (approx. £2.00 a pint of bitter) on a more frequent basis,
you will be requested to submit a membership form. Until then you can pay 50p entry per visit and sign in the visitors book available from the bar.
We hope that the Club will be used in the future by the village, as a social meeting place for both private and village activities. Please feel free to come in at anytime and say hello and talk with our members.
