Remembrance Sunday 2006
Remembrance Sunday 2006 was marked with quiet dignity and respect for the 30 men of Bathford who gave their lives by the laying of wreaths at the morning service at St Swithun's. This also enabled (after very short notice) the welcome attendance of Bathford Guides, Brownies and their Leaders. By reviving the old tradition of laying the wreaths at the 11 am Remembrance Service (at the War Memorial) it is hoped this will encourage all organisations and individuals, both young and old, to fully participate in the future.
